The Ice Breaker Regatta held at CYC Belmont literally began with the race
committee breaking the ¼” ice in order for us to start sailing on
Saturday. Conditions were great for
sailing, but chilly at 32º. The
forecast for Sunday was supposed to be snowing and breezy, but it turned out to
be a nice day with medium breeze.
Loyola fielded three teams with most of the JV and Varsity members being
able to compete. Loyola finished in 6th,
9th and 10th place overall.
